Paint. Need Suggestions.

So went to a shop to get an estimate. Dude told me I can get my hood and front bumper painted color match of my car for about 300 or less. He told me stage one black for my whole car for about 800 and a stage 2 for 1000?

if it gets done right with good product it should not be anything less than 300. depends is their body work involved? or is it just straight up repaint?

Straight up repaint. Then again it's called a one day paint place. But my friends dad knows the dude so im assuming thats why its cheap.

sounds like paint fail waiting to happen... $300 is a lil too low imo for a quality paint job...

300 is cheap for both. i work in a body shop that my uncle owns. for a straight up repaint is around 350 for a bumper. with a hood involved it would be more around 800 - 900

those one day paint jobs are wat u pay for dude......one day paint job......paint is somethin u dont wanna half-***.....since its like puttin clothes on ur car....spend the time and save up for some quality stuff.....

How much should a good paint job cost typically? (whole car) Just curious...

whole car...good shop...full dent/rust removal...color match...PPG (or other good) quality paint...1500 without hookups, at the least. to have "honda rust" fixed (if the metal was penetrated) goes for $500, and thats knowing the shop owner.

dont do just a repaint. it'll look like straight ***. any imperfections you have will show through like none other...
