anybody have a DYI thread about the "tape" mod for the cutoff?

but the latest version of the Morimoto Mini doesn't require the tape mod. Instead, it needs the spring and sharpie mod:

Ofnir107, seem your left and right alignment are a bit off (too close together), but nice cut off!

Haha, thanks. Is it too close? Any tips on how to properly to align them? I just parked the car a short distance (~6ft) from the wall and just made sure the slopes were the same distance apart as the center of my projectors.

At 25 feet from the wall, the "steps" should be 3-4 feet wide. Yours just seems too close.

1NonlyAccord: This retro is so much easier than the TSX retro. The only thing you'll need a dremel for is to cut a bit of the housing that sits in the headlight lenses to get the projectors to fit.
