carbon hood, type r lip, 98-00 oem bumper cover, fender can be saved according to shop guy

So basically you are only have the shop fix up the fender right? You plan to install everything else yourself, correct?

Nope, I don't know diddly about body work lol,

They are putting on the entire front ......

Should only be there a couple of days hopefully

Its pretty simple installing everything yourself.. lol. I've never messed with my hood but i don't see how it'd be too hard to remove and install an aftermarket hood, unless there are some fitment issues.. just have a friend help out since its a bit heavy

How much are they asking to fix up the fender and install everything?

Thanks for the help, but the fender will have issues since it is bent inwards, so followed with aftermarket carbon fiber hood they will have to properly align with the fender...

That is way beyond my knowledge.....

Gonna leave the grill and lip the black that they came, will save 100-200$ in labor more than likely, gonna be 1500-1700$ for the whole shebang.

It's basically my parts I ordered + their labor, original sheet said $900+ for labor and paint, but leaving those two pieces the way they came will save a little bit I'm hoping

Ah i see. I guess leaving the new type r grille and lip the black it came as wont contrast too much with the car's black color so it'll be okay to the eye. I need to find myself a type r lip but i'm still holding off as it costs about $200 shipped to me unless i find some other way of getting cheaper shipping..

That price isnt too bad actually, considering that they're fixing, painting and installing it all for you.

Got off the phone a little bit ago with ups, said it was a minor delay, packages more than likely unharmed.....

but wow, have never seen this with a package..
