    H1 bulbs? Why not D2S? I'm confused, must be missing something here. Are you talking about pre-retrofit for your stock headlights, or using H1 bulbs with TSX projectors?

    Good idea, as long as you watch some tutorial videos and take your time they should turn out pretty nice without spending too much. Plus you wouldn't have to worry about the quality of the retrofit from buying a used set from someone...some are amazing, and some not so much (especially on a budget).

    There must be some confusion then. I didn't remark on anything having to do with the LED color, simply the type of outer taillight lens and how that lens affects the output & clarity.

    Yes, the red tinted clear lens will show considerably more light output and without it looking distorted as well. I was referring to vouching for the clear altezza lens with red tint film as opposed to a factory OEM light. Someone else on here has done a side-by-side comparison using LEDs...

    These parts have been around for years, but it's nice that they're still getting some exposure. Clearcoating them for UV protection is a must, but it doesn't make them resistant to yellowing/fading. That problem actually starts within the resin underneath the clearcoat. A good clearcoating...

    Look into Lamborghini colors if you're looking for something exotic. However, the paint color will only be as good as the quality of the paint you're using, along with the quality of the prep work. Good luck.
