    Yeah my car boggs out and or stutters at 5500 when vtec is supposed to kick in but it doesnt, it just starts jerking fo a quick second and then i let off gas.     H23a Vtec swap

    For some reason on my H23 the vtec isnt kicking in...it still stutters and bucks when it gets to 5500???....is that a vtec solenoid. I took it apart and cleaned it out really good and replaced the gasket and nothing??? What did you find out when you fixed your vtec?

    Well im going to go ahead and solder my harness and do it right....i didnt think about it when i was doing it. I was so happy about getting it done!!!....But its cool i would only have to pull harness and do it up, and by the way my car is OBD2 i have the super rare P13-A16 ECU. I took 6 months...

    Whats Up Bense i just drove my 99 accord h23vtec today for first time and got the same thing but at 5500 keep us posted as to the remedy ive been brainstorming about it and researching. Im gonna try to dig in tomarrow to figure it out

    JDM H23A ECU for manual trans. OBD2 emissions test

    I know this thread is kinda old but dreamaan back in the day used the super rare p13-a12 96 prelude h22 5 speed ecu and it kept him obd2 and able to pass emissions and able to bypass immobilizer considering the fact that this ecu is the only one from factory that didnt have one.....i know this...
