Re: Russianred's Turbo Build Thread! *UPDATED 10/10/10* http://www.zealautowerks.com/hfseries.html This is my favorite compression calculator out there, and its really great since it has all of the stock honda values in there. The k20 rod is 2mm shorter that f23 so its going to lower your...

    Signs of failing fuel pump?

It could be the fuel pump strainer is clogged. Ive seen this happen a couple of times, but usually the car doesn't run for long at all. Very simple to test. Just unbolt the fuel line feeding into the fuel rail and have it lead into a bucket. then power the fuel pump with battery. Just have it...

    O2 sensors

There is no way that can happen. The wiring it self has no effect on the o2 sensors reading. Also is this for a secondary o2 senor or the primary? of its the secondary you can just use the spark plug nonfouler trick.

    ★ Russianred's Turbo Build Thread! ★ *UPDATED 4/15* ★

Re: Russianred's Turbo Build Thread! *UPDATED 5/25* Ive broken those bolts before. luckly mine always sat out alittle just enough to get them with the vice grips. I dont know how much it would put you out of your way, but I would strongly recommend getting a vband attachment welding on to your...

    ★ Russianred's Turbo Build Thread! ★ *UPDATED 4/15* ★

Re: Russianred's Turbo Build Thread! *UPDATED 5/25* Did you break a bolt where the downpipe meets the turbine housing? Also the exhaust valves, and spark plugs are white usually because of heat. It could be from running too retarded of ignition timing, or lean. retarding your ignition makes...

    spongy clutch

ooo I miss read, thinking that it happens after you drive for 4 hours not having it sit. Make sure its not leaking from the master cylinder into your carpet. If it is I would rip out the carpet and clean it down well. Dont lets that stuff just sit. If you cant see any leak, check inside the...

    spongy clutch

I dont know how close our clutch lines are to our header, but if the break fluid starts to boil, or get really hot, then it can cause this.

    F23 oil consumption

Thats not normals. Your compression seems fine. check your spark plugs and check to see if theres any one thats oily or crusty. Its probably your valve seals, since your compression is fine, but I have had a broken oil ring , and the compression test showed normal, but this is very uncommon...

    mraw112's 20v blacktop 7age mr2 build

the diameter of the cut was 2.54cm. I went about .075-.1cm deep. The angle was about 20 degrees, but the surface lower on the inside of the piston I probably only removed .08-.1 ccs from the piston. The density of aluminum is 2.7g/ml so i only remove ~.25 grams. really not that much.

    mraw112's 20v blacktop 7age mr2 build

Well I finally got the car running, unfortunately, its running with the 16v head for now. Ive had a hard time getting the ITBs for the 20v head, because i lost my job in March, and many corolla owners have no sense of value on what parts are really worth. I plan on geting the the car up and...
