    Thanks for the opinion that wasn't asked for. Looking for facts. No point in splicing a wire that doesn't need to be spliced into. I just don't want to waste time really. Just want to get it done in one go.

    With all this being said, what color do I tap into? I really don't want to tap into the wrong wire .. We are talking about the ECU here, and I really don't want to have any CELs. I have a v6/J30 2dr. Is it the green with yellow stripe? Is it blue with yellow stripe? Or is it blue with green...
