just a head swap will cost more than an h22. cant just bolt up a head and call it a day. is your car 5spd. are you doing obd1 conversion? u can find an h22 for under a grand id stick with that
i didnt do my belt or pump when i swapped mine. i looked at it and the timing belt looked good so im holding off til after winter when i have more funds. so take off the valve cover and check it out and you make the call. i did change the plugs and wires though.
anti seize all over them and the only issue i have had in 10 winters lowered is the stuff that piles up in the middle of the road. had a rock mixed in with the snow and crushed my oil pan and pick up tube. but that was the first issue i ever had.
