Re: mounting a cap It is not recommended to mount amps or caps to boxes. They have a greater risk of being damaged largely due to vibrations. While many will argue with me, I've seen it happen too many times to count in the last 6 years I've been doing car audio. Personally I never use or...

How to clean under the hood

since revisiting an old thread is the cool thing to do, I'll throw in my 2cents of tips that I've gathered from detailing cars for 6years. 1. I use plastic bags then cover the plastic bag in foil on the alternator, and distributor. 1a- Use a spray bottle or hose on mist to dampen everything...

    Horrible Gas Mileage

I've been running an average of about 470-500 miles a tank, no real difference if I'm getting on it, or just driving easy. Works out to around 30mpg give or take. I track it every fill up using the trip odometer, and how ever much the pump says I use. Nothing special done to it, K&N filter...

i forget how mine is wired, but its been flawless for over 2years. What type of bulb/light are you using? Mine is an LED mounted near the map lights, if you have an LED, make sure you have the right resistor.

99 EX Accord. Has factory am/fm/cd..but did they have cd changer inputs?

I used one from PIE on my sisters civic Details in this thread on another forum- http://clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=69893 No control feature, but I think those are overrated, most of the clients I've installed interfaces for prefer to use the ipod to control it. Tape/Changer is...

    New here, My 99 5speed

Pinstripe was taken off a little over a year ago, I'll update this with new pics this weekend. I'm also finally getting unlazy and going to attempt to buff out some of the many scratches. I'm pretty sure the rims only fit 4lug, but both 4x100 and 4x114.3, came off my friends teggy when he...

Detailing the inside of my love...

How about trying running them through the dishwasher? It works, then coat them with some trim detailer. Also it typically doesn't get sticky if you keep them DRY
