Alright boys and girls, this is going to be our official CanAm Meet thread for those of us coming from the US side. Those of you coming from the Canada side please co-ordinate with Derek (SykVsyx) either on TAC or here.

Tentative Dates are Friday June 4th to the 6th.

The main purpose of this thread is the following:

~See who is going and where people are coming from
~Post hotels and rates to organize room sharing if desired
~Organize meeting spots for caravans
~Organize a spot for all of us to meet before we cross the border

Kevin (Goldnknight22) and myself are working with Derek and a couple other members of TAC to get this all organized. As soon as I get more info on the different events for the weekend they will be posted here. Expect a full weekend of cars, meets, cruising and eating!!

Hotel rooms will be available at a discounted rate through one of the members on TAC. Room rates will be $40-$50/night depending upon how many people stay there.

We are going to be inviting the following boards:

1. 6GA
2. TAC
3. Toronto Prelude Club
4. Gen5Alive
5. Honda Society
6. Gen7Accord
7. DriveAccord
8. V6P

13. Acurazine
14. 3rdgenlive
15. TSXClub
16. CD5Tuner

19. Quebec Accord Club

Some of the events we will be planning are:

Cruise through the Niagra Region
Car Show with possible media coverage
Meet and greet at a local park with a barbeque

For those of you coming from the US, our entry point into Canada will be the Rainbow Bridge in Niagra, NY. I will find a good meeting spot for all of us before we cross as soon as I can. Tentative meet time will be between 5:00pm and 6:00pm EST on Friday, June 4th.

IMPORTANT: If you don't have a passport, it would be a good idea to get a US Passport Card. The cards cost $40, and there is about a three week turn around time on the cards. The card will allow you to cross Canadian and Mexican borders by land only. You can have your picture taken and fill out the application at your local post office.

Info on the card here:

Where to apply here:

More info posted soon.

If you have any questions, you can PM myself or Kevin (Goldnknight22)

IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTIONS OF COMING TO THE MEET, PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD. I WANT TO KEEP IT CLEAN AND UNCLUTTERED.

ANY CANADIANS THAT WOULD LIKE PARTS FROM THE US TO AVOID SHIPPING CHARGES TO CA CAN CONTACT ME, IF YOU HAVE THE PARTS SHIPPED TO ME I CAN BRING THEM WITH ME TO THE MEET. THIS IS WITHIN REASON, WHAT EVER IT IS HAS TO BE ABLE TO FIT IN THE TL, AND MY BACK SEAT DOESN'T FOLD DOWN. SO NOTHING LARGER THAN A FRONT OR REAR LIP OR SIDE SKIRTS.

FaceBook Page is up!!! http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=318266514064&index=1

If we can get the long distance cruise goin (Johnny boy, me, Kevin?) I'm definitely down.

I had to kill my CanAm funds recently but I'm working full time now so I'm down.

Not sure how we'll work it out Will but I may bring Sikjdm with me, I'll let you know.

Gas money for there and back, including a couple hours minimum of cruising around during the weekend.

Food: All your meals Friday. Either buy or bring food for the drive up there. We all went out to dinner when we got up there last year and had some drinks out too. That's optional tho if you're that tight with a budget. Saturday you'd need breakfast if you choose. The BBQ will cover lunch, you'll be asked to pitch in a few dollars for it I believe. And dinner again we'll all be going out Saturday night for food / possibly drinks if ppl want to. Sunday morning grab some food and then hit the road home. Eat lunch somewhere on the way back.

Hotel: If we get the same deal as last year, SAV (Sagar) from TAC will hook up hotel rooms for a ridiculously low rate. Not a 5-star place, but it's a bed to sleep in for cheap. I forget if it was $40 something, but you can always sleep in your car if you're that strapped for cash. lol.

Other money: Car wash is a good idea. And have some money for any tolls you might encounter on your way, depending where you're coming from.

Think that covers pretty much everything.

so like a couple hundred bucks should cover it. I'll be coming from the Pittsburg, Pa area so gas shouldn't be ridiculous.
