So here's the story.. Traded my 2000 Audi A6 MT Bi-Turbo (165k) for this beast, no rust no rot. All was good, but I noticed some loose bolts on top end. Unfortunately I didn't get any videos before tearing into it, but this teggy is like a bat outta hell.. Way quicker than the Accord, as it was back then. With it being so light, everything really turns into a blur once boost hits. This one revs past 9.5k... Boost only hits at 4-5k, which is when VTEC engages as well. I love high end power! I haven't taken it that fast, but previous owner said it he buried the speedometer on it easily with more to go. Apparently this thing has over 300whp, I believe it I can't wait to get it back together so I can dyno it.

Decided to give it a full overhaul, keep finding little things here and there, but the most important thing is that the cylinder walls are perfect, the rings are good, and the block overall is bulletproof. Anything else can be dealt with. There are a bunch of valvetrain bolts which have snapped off and I will need to tap them out, which shouldn't be a big deal.

Oh dude it's wild!

What's b17 block out of? Rare?

I honestly don't know, I'm new to the world of fitment, as far as anything unrelated to an F23 is concerned lol. I never really liked civics much, but its comforting to know that so many parts can be interchanged with the integra, and they are cheap cheap. So I guess I'm forced into a world of research which is much similar to the things I already know (a Honda is a Honda), but technical specs still learning.

EDIT: 1992–1993 Integra GS-R (USDM Vtec Model Vin DB2/DA9)

According to WIKI, and you as well, YES it is a rare block apparently! And this one's fully built! :D

Except I can say that mine is truly JDM, "J" first digit in VIN :lawl:

Real nice dude, usually it's b16 or b18 the common ones. I had 3 integras b4 my accord and a civic with 2000 gsr motor in it so know a few things about b-series. They very fun to drive, much lighter than our accords
