Re: Enne's 1989 Honda Prelude Si 2.0 4WS

Yup, my CG is my first car, such an open engine bay (4cyl) and fairly simple, it's definitely a great starter car and I've learned a lot from my couple of years driving it

Re: sonni_kuba 2001 'Mugen' J32A2/6MT Accord

Whoaaa the legend returns haha thank you for correcting me. Your car was the first modified coupe in silver I found on the internet when I first got my car and was looking for ideas

Re: Window motor

Not quite sure about the window motor but I've replaced the lock actuator before and it helps to use a phone camera to see where screws are if they're behind the inner panel. Also if you have to take...

Re: common oil leak sources?

I know my rear main is leaking and I go through about a quart a month instead of taking it in to have it replaced. Probably drive 500+ miles a month, but it leaks at a pretty constant rate driving or...

Re: Enne's 1989 Honda Prelude Si 2.0 4WS

So clean, hope Selene hasn't been too neglected with the Prelude being your new baby. Haven't seen pics of the Accord or the Camaro in a little while. We need a group picture of all three together...

Re: Frankensteins Official Thread

The mini nsx idea sounds freakishly awesome. Just gotta promise me you'd use a coupe so you've even got the nsx styled tail lights haha. Paddle shifters that are actually efficient sound like a pain...

Re: Boogie's 98 Sedan LX (56k)

Can always respect a clean stock set up, I just can't leave a car stock though haha. Can't wait to see the 5 lug swap and new rims

Re: Just Bought

Ah I've got an auto as well, about 165k miles and the transmission slips and revs high between 2nd and 3rd. Been driving it like this since it fell into my hands about a year and a half ago and the...

Re: Gas smell

Some exaggeration lol and definitely not as bad as the civics with d series engines but not the greatest sound imo. Maybe it's just the 4 bangers, not sure about the v6 models

Re: Enne's 1989 Honda Prelude Si 2.0 4WS

Ughhh gotta wait till August... I'm excited. It's always fun watching car reviews in general but it will be way cooler to see one on a car that we've all seen cleaned up from the time you got it.

Re: Frankensteins Official Thread

Dang that's a good opportunity, I've always liked integras and the potential they have. As much as I love the CG I'd be considering this trade too. Looks like it comes with a couple of goodies too...

Re: Gas smell

What's not to love about the raspy horrible deafening straight piped Accord sound and making your neighbors hate you for the +1 horsepower in the old 4cyl? lol

Re: Just Bought

Welcome to the site! Transmissions definitely aren't the greatest with this generation of Accord (especially the autos) but the motor is pretty bulletproof for the most part if you're running it...

Re: repaint or leave it?

Fair enough^^ its possible to do it for less than a full paint job if you've got the time for it though, just putting it out there. Really depends on how bad your paint is and what color it is (sorry...

Re: Enne's 1989 Honda Prelude Si 2.0 4WS

Haha I didn't even notice the rear wheels until RedRyder mentioned it, such an odd concept to me but it sounds useful

Re: Frankensteins Official Thread

Jeez you're a wiring genius, I'd be so confused with that many different ones to account for

Re: repaint or leave it?

Can always try buffing, polishing, and sealing. Depending on the color it could help get some scratches/swirls out and bring some life back into the paint

Re: Enne's 1989 Honda Prelude Si 2.0 4WS

Dang Regular Car Reviews? That's pretty sweet, I want to see that. It's good to see such a cool car being cleaned up so nicely. I always see a similar prelude si at work and it sticks out for how...

Re: An update on my early 20s, mid 20s, late 20s...

I have a lot of respect for what you're doing, it's pretty inspiring to see someone work from the ground up like you've done. Glad it's working out well for you and you enjoy what you're doing.

Re: DesiKid's 01 Accord Sedan EX-L

Yeah the auto already eats it with a stock engine, trying to use it with more power probably won't help. New internals wouldn't hurt either but you might be able to get away without a full rebuild...

Re: Door lock assembly

Sure thing, it's definitely a pain. The door lock actuators screws are in such an annoying spot too, they definitely weren't planning on anyone popping the coupe doors open in a garage when they...
