That shouldn't short out an ECU though. Worst case the car won't run. You probably swapped TPS w/ the MAP sensor. They have the same connector.

Bought an extra set of heads a few weeks ago. Sent those out to IAG to get a valve job, polish the journals, mill the heads, and cleaned them up. Ended up w/ one bad cam and needing valve guides....

Did you fully check out the cause for the code? It's not unheard of for an ECU to fail but it's not exactly common either. I would put the pins back w/ the original ECU and retest all connections...

Your first and biggest obstacle is going to be tuning it. I would look into AEM for that since you're in Cali. After that, it's just parts.

Won't work. Computer controls timing. Whatever you change mechanically (or try to) the computer will put right back.

I don't know where you've heard that the distributor o-ring is hard to change but whoever told you is an idiot. It literally couldn't be any easier to do.


I wouldn't buy a seal kit for the P/S...

It's like 3 12mm bolts, pull the distributor off, change o-rings, bolt it back on.

Intake manifolds are the same. ECU, o2 sensor, and exhaust manifold is different.

Performance wise, intake, exhaust, header, suspension...etc etc...
