Re: Intermittent Start

Do you hear the fuel pump priming? Has the car ever shut off and immediately turned back on while driving?

Re: Gear selector

You could try checking the shift lock to see if it is where it needs to be.

Re: Tokico Blues Front Shocks

I would go straight to the source and call Tokico. As for whether to do it or not, if your current ones are fine then there's no need. However, if you know you want to switch or will need...

Re: RR's 2014 ATS 6spd 2.0T

Installed intake and catch cans over the weekend. Turbo noise is louder, no one expects a PSHHH from this car haha. Mishimoto makes a nice catch can system.

Got busy with the house for a while,...

Re: Inexpensive Ball Joints - Put GREASE In Them First!

I would recommend just buying OEM lower ball joints, they are an inexpensive part.

Re: One and only upgrade

I would have to say 6spd swap, it still brings me the most joy every time I drive the car.

Re: Enne's 1989 Honda Prelude Si 2.0 4WS

This is the kind of first car I'd love to get my kids, old school Honda's are simple, cheap, and reliable. And it would make them appreciate a newer car when they finally get one. But newer cars...

Re: Rubbing sound

Any shaking in the wheel? What does this rubbing sound like? Does the rotor look to have normal wear or is there scoring? Check to see if both pads are wearing evenly as well.

Re: Clutch pedal for swap

You can use the clutch pedal from a 5MT 6GA/5MT Acura CL, or 6MT Acura CL Type-S (2003 only). Possibly 7GA V6 6MT or Acura TL 6MT 04-08 only) but don't quote me on those. I would use the 2003 CL-S...

Re: My 2000 Accord Coupe 5spd

Welcome to the site. Car looks good, do what you can to protect that paint. Swapping the woodgrain to the silver pieces really sets off a black interior in my opinion. Good call on the manual.

Re: Window motor

I would just buy a regulator that has a new motor and replace all that at once since you're going in there. I have done both mine, it's pretty straightforward. There are also DIY videos on YouTube,...

Re: Site zoomed in too much?

If I visit the site in Chrome and have it set at 100%, it fits normally. Try hitting 'Control 0' with the web page up and see what happens. That should format the browser to fit your screen...

Re: Just Bought

Welcome to the site. With how old these cars are, obviously a lot has been discussed so the search feature is your friend. Sounds like the transmission is the first order of business!

Re: F23a4

The craziest Honda engine swap I have ever seen someone attempt in these cars, ever. Unfortunately no idea if it was ever completed.

Re: synergy10's LX V6 Coupe

^I collected parts over time and amassed them in my dining room, before I got married of course hah. Having a complete 6MT CL-S donor is the best way to go now if you come across a good one. I...

Re: New in oregon

Good plan, welcome to the site. For the clunking check your suspension, sway bar endlinks, etc. Do the headlights come on full strength or is it a DRL? What setting is your headlight stalk set on?

Re: Enne's 1989 Honda Prelude Si 2.0 4WS

I wonder what the turning circle is on it. Edmunds has the turning circle as 36.1 (coupe) and 36.4 (sedan) for the 6GA. It would be interesting to see how much it is shortened by the 4WS system...
