Re: Car died, but perky again

Nine times out of ten, when a 6gen Accord stalls while you are driving (as opposed to being unable to restart after you park), it is a fuel pump going bad. For a long time, my Accord idled a little...

Re: whats the difference

I have a JDM F23 also, and the improved throttle response is for real. The compression is slightly higher, and the head flows a little better. It is just a little more rev happy than the USDM...

Re: Addiction? - There is help

I am a criminal defense attorney, and I can tell you how bad heroin is. I get a lot of crack addicts, and a lot of meth addicts, and a lot of marijuana growers, but very few heroin addicts. The...

Re: Lack of respect and decency

Here in So Cal, the L.A.P.D. has a special unit made of volunteer retired cops called the "Traffic Police" that does nothing but escort funeral processions. Most other large cities in So Cal do...

Re: Need engine!

Just go to one of the JDM engine suppliers and get a JDM F23. They are cheap, lower miles than what you can get here, and you get a slight boost in power. And in NV you don't need to worry about...

Re: In 5 years, i want to be...

In 5 years I'll be 53. In 5 years I want to celebrate my 15th anniversary with my wife, and still be as happy as I am now. Career wise, I'd like to be at a point where I am practicing law because I...

Re: clunking sound

Probably a loose brake caliper. The bolts in the calipers strip out and work loose sometimes, so that is what to look for. But you should also check the swaybar end links.

Re: noob needs help!! TAKE THAT LOOK OFF UR FACE

You should also go through the "Members' Rides" section, and look at the photos of the cars. Every car has a spec sheet at the beginning of the thread showing what wheels and tires the owner has (or...

Re: Hyperblinking signals

You do not have to have a bad bulb or filament to get hyperblinking. I had that problem for a long time and I finally traced it to a very slightly loose connection between the bulb and the socket in...

Re: Lowering question?

Autozone loans a spring compressor for a $60 credit card deposit, or will sell you one for the same price. You can do the spring/strut job yourself pretty easily, but you will need a shop to align...

+ 1 on the OEM style blackhoused headlights from Ebay. I got mine from Watomi Racing, and used Silverstar bulbs. The Ebay lights cost me around $120 shipped if memory serves. They actually seem to...

Re: More Torque??

Get a JDM F23. They are cheap enough. Out of the box you will get better throttle response and a boost in midrange torque that you can feel. Once you get it, port the head and intake manifold, and...

Re: Car sputters when A/C is turned on

Check for a loose drivebelt, and a loose crank pulley. My accord tended to bog and stutter and make a rattling noise with the A/C on but ran fine with it off. I figured the compressor was going...

Re: Good deal on rims + tires?

You are basically paying $100 per rim for 4 good rims. Used tires make good swings for kids and monkeys, and a cracked rim makes a good base for a coffee table. For about twenty dollars more per...

Re: Suspension noise (video included)

I had a lot of clanking and rattling coming from my left front suspension after doing shocks and springs, and after a lot of sleuthing, I found out that it was a bad brake caliper -- the caliper...

Re: Cheapest best 1inch drop.

The cheapest one inch drop (other than three corpulent passengers) is to rent a spring compressor, take out your springs, get a hacksaw and take care of business. This is kind of tough on the stock...

Re: Sway Bar Sizes

Kurumamotoring is the Ebay dealer that has the Progress Acura TL rear swaybar. I got my Illuminas and Tanabe DF210's from him, and he ships fast and his products are as described.
