Check the front suspension/ball joints. I had a ball joint shear in half screwing up more than just the ball joint. Laid the car on the ground and the tire was 90 degrees to the car.

I'm at 233k miles. Every day it sees 6k RPMs. Burns a little oil but it runs hard and strong.

You can boost a lot higher with e85 which is an awesome plus. But damn 16miles a gallon is terrible. I get 25mpg and I drive my 230k engine hard. If I can stay below 3k RPMs it doesn't burn much...

It is not hard to remove that engine mount. Takes less than five minutes and it will save you much more than 5 minutes of trouble.

Gain will be neglible with bolt ons and just swapping parts. Whatever bolt ons you do the engine isn't gonna "scream" an the car isn't going to be much faster at all.

If your parents don't want you doing work yourself just ask them to pay for a professional paint job.

If it's a daily driver just leave it. Adds character. Get a touch up pen and go to town.

Not going over 4500 rpm seems like an ecu problem. Even without vtec the engine should still climb in RPMs

Find a mechanic that will let you bring him parts to install. That way you know exactly what quality part you are getting.

The hell with cv boots. My 95 Camry had a completely ripped boot for 6...
