Re: Rubbing sound

Re: Frankensteins Official Thread

Found some wicked terminal corrosion. Seemed to happen overnight. Since I just put about 1000 continuous miles on the car Iíll watch it and see if it comes back. Maybe going from Florida straight to...

Re: Richard's '02 V6 Coupe EX-L

Man thatís awesome lol. I hate taking the family wheels. We have a corolla for everything and itís smaller than my cg. I think my issue is her. The baby is fine. The exhaust noise doesnít bother him...

Rubbing sound

Things to double check would be pads, rotors and calipers if itís only on braking. Cv axle is worth double checking as is the hub. It could just be the stone shield running on the rotor. Easiest way...

Re: Help!! Slammed accord down.

This ^^ thereís really no other way it would be on unless the pressure switch is faulty but if it stays in you shouldnít be driving anyways. Just pull the pan and see if the pickup is ok. If itís not...

Re: Clutch pedal for swap

Same clutch pedal as that generation of tl. 99-02? Or the 99 cl. Those are even rarer in most cases. Have you tried eBay?

How to change accessory belt (without power steering)

Step four is probably the most important one because it reminds you to stop being a sh1tty car owner and keep up with basic maintenance :lawl:

Re: Engine Theory, Build, Etc Discussion.

That would get expensive real quick. Not only do you have to swap out the motor, youíll need a whole lot more. New trans, new shift linkage, new mounts, new axles, new subframe, everything in the...

Re: Engine Theory, Build, Etc Discussion.

You should not be turboing a high mileage motor without understanding all the things you have questions about. The general consensus is these things can handle about 200 -250 hp on stock internals....

3 wire iacv to 2 wire without swapping manifolds (DIY)

For the past 2 months my car has had the following symptoms: surging, 1500 to 2000 rpm hesitation, heavy engine braking when not on the gas ( itís a manual) and just poor drivability.

People on...

Frankensteins Official Thread

Alright dudes. After like 3 plus months of heavy engine braking, surging and hesitation I finally figured it out. I had a chip for the ecu made until I can get a tune. I told the tuner I wanted the...

Re: H23 swap temp gauge

Itís almost guaranteed not to run correctly without the proper ecu. You might lean out since the ecu is for a 2.2 liter and the engine is a 2.3. I could be wrong since itís only .1 liter but I guess...

Re: Turboing high mileage F23a4?

Ok really? I had to read this one to make sure i read it correctly. 8-10 psi means NOTHING. Every turbo puts out different volumes and pressures based on turbine size and housing. 8-10 psi on a 62mm...

Re: H23 swap temp gauge

Yea I didnít see it in the pinouts for plug a which goes to various things throughout the chassis. Just run a new wire to make life easier. How is the engine running? Isnt the h23a different from the...

Re: H23 swap temp gauge

I think the o2 cluster is different from the 99 in some ways but fundamentally itís the same. If you take the trim piece off behind the steering wheel , youíll have access to the cluster and the...

There are two sensors on the head under the dizzy. A two plug and a single plug with a green and yellow wire. The single plug is sensor A and goes to the cluster. The two wire one goes to the ecu. My...

Re: Multiple leaks on '99 F23A4

The pin youíre referring to is the pin that goes through the rotor assembly on the engine side and you only need to change it to change out the fork that goes into the cam shaft. The pin does break...

Re: Frankensteins Official Thread

Should be relatively easy with the tl ecu and Powertrain. In fact the wheel should be the easiest part to set up. The hardest part will be the mounts and engine setup. As far as putting the power...

Boogie's 98 Sedan LX (56k)

I think for the most part theyíre like the cheapest of the 90s Honda motors. You can always get one of those ďlow mileageĒ ones for like 300. But I get where youíre coming from lol
