Re: K20a swap

Contact HASport , as they've put a K-20 or K-24 in just about everything. Also they're located semi-close by in Nevada.
They could even do a K-24T for you. :)

Re: Done with repairs!!!

Well, that's cool. Did you decide whether you're staying on campus, or driving home everyday? Personally I'd stay on campus, and park the Rogue in the parking lot there. Then for weekends drive home...

Re: Frankensteins Official Thread

One of my latest issues of Honda Tech, showed a video of them doing a K24T in a 98 Civic. They swapped in for just over $3K as a comparison against doing a B swap. They used an Accord engine for the...

Re: How to replace the gas tank, the easy way with pics!

The only thing that was rusted up on mine was the left rear strut bushing thru bolt. I had to cut it out, due to the bolt rusting to the sleeve. Everything else came out like it was supposed to.

Re: Enne's 1989 Honda Prelude Si 2.0 4WS

Glad you found your issue with that spark plug.
Man, that rotor screw looks beat. I've only seen 1 other like it (my son's 98 Civic). We found it doing a tune up.
If the filter on the left was...

Re: Cars & Coffee Lehigh Valley (PA/NJ) - Season opener is April 22 2018

Add at least 2 more hours to that for me. I'd have to leave at 10pm the night before just to get there in time.

Re: Missing Parts! Important For Finishing Timing Belt Replacement Project???

Congrats on doing all that work.:) I hope you rolled the engine over about 6 times after getting both belts changed. It's one of those things I do to make sure everything is good to go.
As for the...

They were up yesterday, as I saw the intake pic (1st one). Don't know if his server had a glitch.

Re: Frankensteins Official Thread

The single nut is a jamb nut. The rod actually has the other "12mm nut" on it (it's like a double ended stud).

Re: Missing Parts! Important For Finishing Timing Belt Replacement Project???

Don't turn on the engine, and don't turn the engine while the belt is off. Doing so can damage the engine, because some valves might be extended (open) that will hit the piston.
While you have the...

Re: Frankensteins Official Thread

You adjust pedal height thru the clevis attaching point inside the car (up under the dash). Mine uses two 12 mm wrenches to adjust.

Re: Jacking up car

Don't use the rear tow hook point, as that'll collapse the trunk floor. BTDT, had to get the BFH out to fix it.

Re: Jacking up car

Use the plate like it's called out in the owners manual, then put the jack stands in place like I posted above. If you're removing the tires, break the lugs loose before lifting it.

Re: Jacking up car

In the owners manual, it shows 4 square plates hanging down from the rockers. Those are the jack points that you use for jacking up the car, unless the metal they're welded to is rusty, or rusted...

Re: Jacking up car
