Re: Bleed clutch without removing front motor mount?

It is not hard to remove that engine mount. Takes less than five minutes and it will save you much more than 5 minutes of trouble.

Re: F23a4

The best modification I have done for my f23a1 is delete the catalytic converter and skeletonize the bottom side of the stock air box along with adjusting the tension on the throttle cable.

The...

Re: F23a4

Gain will be neglible with bolt ons and just swapping parts. Whatever bolt ons you do the engine isn't gonna "scream" an the car isn't going to be much faster at all.

Re: V6 Alternator Upgrade DIY W/ pics

I'm not worried about the power wire. I'm glad the socket is the same.

I am an electrician so I have a hoard of wire up to 4/0 I can use for a power wire lol

Re: repaint or leave it?

If your parents don't want you doing work yourself just ask them to pay for a professional paint job.

If it's a daily driver just leave it. Adds character. Get a touch up pen and go to town.

Re: Vtec malfunction

Not going over 4500 rpm seems like an ecu problem. Even without vtec the engine should still climb in RPMs

Recheck all connections

Re: Gas smell

Find a mechanic that will let you bring him parts to install. That way you know exactly what quality part you are getting.

The hell with cv boots. My 95 Camry had a completely ripped boot for 6...

Re: Engine bay tucking and re-organizing

A mechanical connect is ALWAYS necessary for reliable splices done correctly. If it was me I would just get insulated butt spliced and a crimp tool. It would be more effective than buying shrink...

Re: Engine bay tucking and re-organizing

Damn I want a Resilience. Nice knife shot. Something about large folders gets me.

I wouldn't worry about shrink tubing moving if there is a mechanical connector under there.

Re: Engine bay tucking and re-organizing

Re: Engine bay tucking and re-organizing

If you can tug the wires and pull them apart it's not a RELIABLE And SECURE connection. Tape isn't made for the connection of wires.

Now will it WORK. Yes I will. Is it ghetto as hell yes. ...

Re: Engine bay tucking and re-organizing

Electrical tape is NOT made for splicing wires. It is made to INSULATE proper connections or depredations in the original wire insulation.

I have removed halfass wiring jobs that were just...

Re: 4Cylinder Power loss

Just install a test pipe and delete the cat. It's useless. Unless you live in a terrible state with emissions testing.

Re: Should I even bother....?

Also you are not going to do well in school if
You are spending 6 hours of the day driving to and from home. That time should be spent studying and doing homework.

Re: Engine bay tucking and re-organizing

I haven't had ABS in my last two cars for the past 10 years. I couldn't even lock the tires up on my accord, the tires gripped so hard it just stopped like a MFer.

If you know how to drive ABS...
