Re: the acclude's face lift 98-00 coupe front swap and paint

Lookin good! Check your PMs, we’ll have to kick it some time and I can give you a hand with some of this. I’ve not done it either but an extra set of hands doesn’t hurt and plus you’re doing side...

Re: Window problem

That sucks! I didn’t even think of that when I bought mine. Guess I got lucky. OP; yes, it’s more than likely the regulator and/or motor. Best just buy the whole assembly, I think I bought mine on...

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

Yeah, SSDD with me. Accord is still going. Only real new change is the dual color fog light bulbs. Replaced both license plate light assemblies and bulbs as the old ones kept shorting out and I was...

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

Luckily for me I don't have any rust. Yet. But nowhere looks like it's going to. Yet.

I don't mind the tan. The woodgrain, black wheel, and dark(soon to be darker) rubber mats break it up. My...

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

So a few updates...

Had the Teins on for about 6 months now. Rear looks good but I think the fronts could come down a tad more. It's developed a noise that, IMO, sounds like a bad joint or bushing...

Re: DIY: Switchblade Key

Not sure how I missed it the first time but that red H totally looks awesome! Mine came with a black/plain one. Kinda jealous. Lol.

Apparently there's been some confusion/an issue on the Facebook...

Re: LED DIY: AC Controls

Those are his V6P special knobs. Good luck getting a set. Or are they the VWs? I can't remember. Lol.

Once you get everything apart you'll see where everything is. It wasn't that hard.

Re: Stock air box mod

4-5 clips up top and 2 screws on the side. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to remove the bumper. And I agree; removing the resonator or buying a cheap SRI will have a better effect.

Re: DIY: Switchblade Key

Yikes. Yeah, like I said I guess I just got lucky with mine. Went to the dealer on a Saturday at like 2 or 3 and he did it all for free. :\

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

Don't remember what the old ones were. Brightest I could get from either SBL or DDM. New ones I tried were 50W 1000 lumen. I'm fine with the old "incans" for now.

Finally got the hardware for the...

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

So, weird thing happened. I swapped in the new LEDs; not any brighter. Got to thinking and swapped back in the old 7440 incandescents. They're actually a smidge brighter than even the old LEDs I had...

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

They're COB so they should still be plenty bright. Not sure on the length though. You'd have to measure and see.

Ordered a pair of new LED reverse bulbs. I think they sent me dual filaments...

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

Ya know...the funny thing is...lol. I got them off of the Wish App. It's chock full of cheap, Asian knock-offs. BUT, like I said, so far so good.

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

They're wired with a 194 base and just plug in like a normal 194. They have a could inches of wire that I had to loop and tuck and it was actually kind of a PITA to get them to sit just right, lol. ...

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

Don't worry about how dirty the interior is, lol. Picked up a pair COB LED boards. Originally for the GFs Corolla but they were too bright for her. Tested them in my map light and they fit like a...

Looking for a tan homelink for my EX coupe. I've found them new online but they're $200+. Not sure if coupe matters or not. Prefer tan but would consider a different color.

Mine isn't completely...

Re: 2001 V6 coupe or keep old honda?

Honda ATF is the best thing for it. Don't flush it. Just drain the old fluid and put in new fluid. Buy a lot of it and do this a couple times. After the first fill, drive it around the block a few...

Re: RR's '99 coupe EX-L

Parts came in for the rear side markers. I don't think they're gonna work. Not without taking the actual light assembly apart. And even then, the lights I got are EXTREMELY bright. Too bright for a...

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

Still have to do the front hardware and links. Was able to get the rears loose enough to raise it about 3/4". I know low is the point but until I can tuck my exhaust up better, it didn't need to be...

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

Indeed. Hopefully they will. Time will tell. At this point there isn't much of a light at the end of the tunnel yet, so I'm gonna plan on not being able to go anywhere.

So...here's what I have...

Re: Mikey's 2001 V6 Coupe

So I did a thing... Installed new Moog sway bar links and new OEM shock bolts while I was at it. Have shock bolts/nuts and pinch bolts for the front, just have to install them. Gonna order front sway...
