    Koni / GC feedback

I am running off the shelf rates which for my 4 cylinder are 430 front, 300 rear. I have 17X7.5 rims / 215/50/17 tires. My offset is almost flush until camber takes over. At 1 finger gap, I rubbed on big dips in the road until I rolled the fenders. Your wheel/tire set up looks like you might...

    Koni / GC feedback

Are you already on the lower clip setting for the koni's? I still have several threads showing (1 finger gap), I am on the upper clip setting and have only about 1 inch shock travel on the front before hitting the bump stops. If I put 7" springs on mine I would be tucking tire but sitting on...

    Koni / GC feedback

The GC springs come with urethane spring isolators that can be used with the OEM metal top hats. Just so happens that I ordered new OEM rubber spring isolators also, and the GC urethane (front) ones have a lip on both sides, one side fits inside the spring, and the other side just happens to fit...

    Koni / GC feedback

I am about 1 finger gap with 215/50/17's. Love the ride, would go lower but already trimmed my bump stop 1 inch up front. I wish accords had aftermarket extended top hats like civics. I plan on making my own soon. Definitely a great ride for going as low as you want. The ride does not change...

I actually agree. Helpful is one thing, but posting negative comments is another.

    Koni / GC feedback

I know, this is my 4th lowered vehicle. Just that linear springs are not as soft as progressive on the interstate etc. Did you keep your oem spring insulators in place or remove them altogether?

    Koni / GC feedback

Your point is what? Dude, for a guy who already stated in his own thread that he wont spend a $1,000 on a suspension...... are you 18 yet? Do you have a job? I did not even see any wheels on your car yet you comment on everyones offset, rolling fenders etc. Just where do you get all of this...

    Koni / GC feedback

Recently installed my Koni / GC set up on my 99 coupe. Just wanted to give my thoughts and a few issues. After initial install, I decided to order some additional parts that ended up making it a much nicer final installation. Here are the parts I ordered; 4 Koni sport shocks -...

    Please Advise, Reguarding Dealership Service

True statement for external seal. If it is the internal seal, it cannot be changed unless you dis-assemble the distributor and find a seal that fits. I have not located an oem internal seal for sale. The way to tell is if there is oil "inside" of the cap. there is a weep hole that will let it...

    Please Advise, Reguarding Dealership Service

Not sure how handy you are, but I would attempt to diagnose the leak myself first. You should be able to rule out the distributor leaking pretty easily. Mine was leaking internally, and it was very evident when I pulled the cap off. There are several articles over at...

Need A/C help, it's hot as balls.

After watching the video, it appears your compressor only kicked on for a few seconds. Usually caused by not enough freon charge in the system and the internal safety switch shuts it down. The compressor appears to be engaging properly, not frozen, and did not make a lot of noise when engaged...

    Please check OEM parts websites

I have been buying several parts over the years for accords (99 coupe is my 3rd). I just want to let everyone know that internet sites like http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/home.htm have many oem parts that are very reasonable. I have looked through a lot of FS ads and junkyards, and have...

    coilover help

Thats what I am running. If you are looking to slam it, you will need custom top hats for the front or you will ride on the bump stops. Mine sits at 25 3/4 inches in the front and I had to trim my bump stops about 1 inch (koni bump stops, not original). The rear has plenty of shock travel and...

    Buying new suspension Thursday

That is just one guys opinion, but he is very well known on that board for suspension set-ups. I would go with whatever fit my budget and what I am familiar with. The reason I posted that was just to give the OP something to read from what appears to be a pretty knowledgable site/site member...

    Lowering spring install help

One of the best suspensions I have ran for a DD is the H&R sport springs and koni yellows. yes they cost, but with a limited lifetime warrantee / adjustable spring perch circlip / adjustable dampening I am not familiar with a better shock for daily driving.

    Anyone have these wheels?

Thanks for the replies. I am one to buck trends and do my own thing, but have made mistakes with it in the past. Appreciate the push back in my lane..... I will probably go with my initial draw to the silver rims. Still like the gold also, but I think the car should be a little more modified...

    Anyone have these wheels?

OK, another question on these wheels...... I noticed on the website that they have the same wheel with gold (except for the lip). I was convinced on the silver, but after looking at the pic threads I noticed a lot of white rides with the gold rims. My car is a white EX with sunroof, tinted...

    Anyone have these wheels?

Thanks RedRyder, I have enjoyed reading about/looking at all of the rides on here. My real car hobby is older GM musclecars (67 camaro, 72 chevelle) but I just cannot drive a stock vehicle so I try to learn from folks like you. My speedometer is already off a little. Actually the 215/45/17...

    Wheel bearing replacement?

The rear bearings are an assembly and do not need to be pressed. They will, on occasion, come off in two pieces with the inner race remaining stuck on the spindle. It is a 2 piece inner race and the half closest to the brake disk shield is usually stuck. If this happens, remove the disk heat...
