Thanks for the comment Red. I never could get rid of my wing.....maybe :lawl: And yeah I agree the caps are needed. My issue is I don't know what kind of rims they are beside that they're Konig, I've looked up serial number and all. And I just never went ahead and bought caps to test em out...- Tectonickz

Retrofitting headlights
I disagree!! Do it right the first time otherwise in a year you'll be buying the nice stuff anyways and re-doing it because your cheap route didn't last long! Also +1 to RedRyder, Go to a junkyard for any spare headlight pieces you need theres sure to be a coupe or sedan there. I needed wiring...- Tectonickz

Loud whining noise coming from engine - HELP ASAP! Need my DD.
I'm just worried about going that internal into the engine and not getting the timing right. Just called two shops....got estimates of $850 for entire timing belt kit and labor and $950 for entire timing belt kit AND drive belts and labor. Thoughts? Was thinking of selling the car soon...- Tectonickz

Thanks for those links James. When you replaced yours did you do it yourself? Don't have the time right now to work on the car so wondering if I should just go to a shop even thought $90 is a lot nicer than $500+ but Im worried about messing something else up going in to do the timing belt...- Tectonickz

Probably won't dive into the timing belt myself thats a bit too much for me. Suggestions on next step? Shop inspection? EDIT: also like I said the noise is gone now so I'm not really sure how to proceed. THE LAST THING I want to do is blow my engine because I drove it with a bad timing belt.....- Tectonickz

Hey guys so about a week ago I was driving my CG3 home and downshifted into 2nd to pull into my driveway and all of a sudden the car started making a loud whining noise coming from near the alternator, belts, and timing belt. Messed with it for awhile, when revved up it seemed to smooth out...- Tectonickz

Need help!
I just swapped in some new eibach sportlines with a 2" drop all the way around. Looks nice. Just be warned you will have a slight boat look unless you also get shocks with adjustable perches. At 2" drop the ride still looks pretty aggressive but I have no problems with speed bumps or potholes...- Tectonickz
