dont waste your time, its too much trouble for the function it performs. you probably listen to CDs too so in that case you cant even use them. my cl had them, and i never used them.- Yamaha R1

read if you have stock hu and subs
if you are not that good with wires then just hook up a simple switch from the amps possitive terminal to the remote input and run the wire to the front seat, like you said its just a temp fix. to get a little bit more technical, the amps remote input doest draw much in order to turn on, it...- Yamaha R1
