got an effin MINT supra for a killer deal and have to either fix the tranny in the accord or get another supra......i wish i would have had more experience with hondas so i could say they are reliable but those darn v6 trannys......thanks everyone for the help!- toogoode

same transmission?
i have a 2001 accord automatic v6 coupe and the tranny just took a ****. will all v6 transmissions work with my car? aka direct fit? 98-02 coupe and sedan transmissions are the same im guessing but just want to make sure.- toogoode

thanks guys. i am lucky to own the supras. i plan on selling the 87 soon though....unfortunately, some bills came up and now its gonna be gone....i already have a buyer lined up (i hope) so once i get it sold and the bills paid, ill have some money to put into the accord. maybe a 6-speed conv...- toogoode

\ they didnt make it....haha im making a custom setup. supra sc300 and cressidas do use the same motor. the 86-92 supras have the same motor as the cressidas (7m) and the 93-98 supras have the same as the sc300 (2j) i will be modding the 98 a little bit ie: intake exhaust singe turbo...- toogoode

actually the 98tt has a perfectly straight body on it now. that dent pulled right out with a suction cup. the 98 will stay stock....the 87 is running low 12's now....- toogoode

Next week i should be getting my flowmaster exhaust for it. i don't have any ridiculous power goal for it as that is what my supra is for. i want it to be a DD with a little pep and shine! New to hondas period!
yes i do plan to build the 98tt but i am keeping everything i take off. it has only 32,458 miles on it. so its unmolested as of now. ill go to around 500hp mostly because by the time i get there, gas will be $987345.00 a gallon.- toogoode

haha thanks....unfortunately the oil pump went out on my 87t so i have to do an overhaul all over again....but its pushing 396 at the rear wheels still. 12.23 1/4 mile....but the honda rides smoother....haha- toogoode

haha thanks everyone. i dont have any pics of the accord yet. i cant seem to find my phone but i do have some of the supra. heres my 87T: and my newer 98TT: now the dent has been taken out of the 98 so it has a straight body on it now. going in for paint sometime...- toogoode
