    Recommend me a sub and amp?

    2 12" mtx jackhammers, alpine headunit, infinity speakers with tweeters on the inside, the orginal amp was a 1600watt mtx amp but I just changed that to two amps, Alpine F300 and Alpine M1000. plus wires. :rock: 1500 before the new amps, and 11 hour complete self install.

    You shouldn't have a problem. I have a 4channel amp for all four of my speakers + tweets. And then 1000w for just my subs, I used 4gauge at first but just recently switched to 2 8's as well. I haven't have any problems, just the ridiculous amounts of bass! :omgbd:

    It's probably gonna be pretty hard to do it under 400 total. Subs aren't to bad but it the amp(s) that are the hardest part. I put my system together for orginaly $1,500+ then I had to replace the one 5channel amp I had, with two, a 4channel and a mono. I got most of my sh8t from this...
