Started to wrap my 4 cylinder header and downpipe in Dei exhaust wrap. Well it's a lil more tricky than you might think. Starting out can be a pain, making sure you get it tight as possible, and feeding it thru every time you wrap it over. The exhuast wrap flat wire ties IMO suck. I could never seem to get it tight enough were it couldn't be moved, and pulling it taught is almost impossible cause it just want to pull in a circle. Not to mention how easy it is for the wrap to srart fraying once you cut it. Need to order more ties cause i f'ed up so many times.

what did i do today? well lets see

- heard a weird whistlieing sound from my hood, opened it up to reveal a crack in my week old AEM intake,
-backed into a pole that came out of no where (bumper was just redone 2 months ago)
-got mad at myself for hitting the pole, so i slammed my door and broke the lock (the pillar that slides up and down)

it gets better =]

-got a quote from the body shop at 650$ to repaint f&rear bumper and hood,
-AEM is sending me a brand new intake
-fixed the lock and DIYed it to gloss black
-utilized the back seat to relieve some stress
-got my spark plugs and shift boot in the mail!

i just finished draining the water from my radiator ... it only had water in it since the swap so i filled it with peak antifreeze coolant and bled the system ... also topped it off with a new radiator cap
