I got my coupe right after graduating high school when it was bone stock. It was a major upgrade from my withering '91 Accord sedan, so I was really happy to get it. She's my daily driver with the miles just over 200k, but she runs smoothly. Under the hood is an F23A1 with a 5 speed trans. She's my baby and the first car I've ever modded. Everything done to it so far has been done by myself with some help from my dad and friends.

EDIT: Due to a tree falling and hitting my brother's truck, (and me buying a new car anyway) my Accord now belongs to my brother. He has a few plans for it, but is not as much of an enthusiast as I am. I'll keep this updated if he continues to modify it. Thanks to all who gave advice and showed love!

What do the retros look like?

P1010258.jpg

more expensive and harder to do, but pretty legit

i didnt have the time or money to get retrofits so i just got black housed oem headlights (65$ shipped from ebay) and some 8000k hid's and im happy with it. halos on this car are kind of ricey imo, but you should do whatever you like, its YOUR baby.. haha

I like those, and I've seen a few halo kits on some 6GAs that weren't bad. But I'll look into those retros for sure

LOVING this new exhaust! Removed the silencer the other day and sounds even better. It's not raspy, loud, nor does it drone when cruising. Deep throaty sound and hits a sweet spot around 4000 RPM. Went together with no problems at all and sounds amazing.

Re: BamaVTEC's 2000 LX coupe (Update: 7/21/13)

Been a LONG time since I posted in here... lots of new updates to the car. Ditched the old exhaust a while ago, sounded like **** after awhile since it wasn't resonated so I got a real cat-back on it. Went with the black housed headlights and 8K HID lights, picked the wheels up pretty cheap and they look great on the car. Has a front lip now but I might remove it and swap it for something else eventually. More stuff getting added to it as I go along.

Removed the Type-R lip, planning on getting an OEM lip from Bayson R in the next few weeks. I'm open to any suggestions on what to do next!
