As mentioned previously my 98 accord has 216,000 miles and yes it is still the original engine. I had to get another transmission when the car had 140,000 miles but it was my fault cause I have an automatic but I would drive it in lower gears at time.
When I had my transmission replaced I asked the mechanic he told me that this gen of accord the transmission will likely to go first before the motor goes. He said these motors can get 400,000 to 500,000 miles no problem of course with regular maintenance.

my baby passed 138k last week...needs a cabin filter change, valve tightening, finish up the hid retro, and get my components/second amp in...all of which will happen this summer. oh, and a couple surprises, depending on how things go :D

I'm almost at 108k. However, the guy that I know who installed my clutch says it drives like new, which it does.
