Looking to liven up my girlfriend's car and wanted to know if an 04 odyssey engine and transmission are direct drop in. the 5 speed auto with the extra torque sounds about perfect for the car to make it feel a little better to drive around. currently a V6 and just feels a little low on power, especially compared to the LT1 in my roadmaster. I wouldn't be doing the swap myself as all of my experience is in rwd and gm, so if it isn't a direct swap and fairly cheap to do I wouldn't want to bother.

Well duh, of course it's a little sluggish, it's a V6 economy car, versus a V8 family car. I have the same arguement with my buddy, in that his V8 full size GMC is quicker and faster than my V6 Chevy fullsize pickup. Two cylinders is still 2 cylinders afterall. There's no replacement for displacement.:banghead:
