As luck would have it...I've almost finished the blackhosing. When it comes to the more "crafty" jobs I'm finding I have to rework it once or twice...D'OH!!...lol, yeah I remember how happy I was when I finally blackhoused my headlights, ever since its like the first thing I suggest people should do when they start messing around with their accords.
The LEDs (well, the console part) has turned into one of those "crafty" projects. I'm on what I'd call "Phase 2"......there were bad hot spots in "Phase 1" (the photo you remarked about). When I cleared out the needles, everything went south quickly!!question about the gauges - it looks like you have really bad hot spotting on the needles - is it really that bad at night or is it just some weird camera setting?
This is a closeup of three of the LEDs I soldered for the indicator LEDs on the climate control:also how long did it take you to solder in all the led's, and how small were your soldering points? I'm not exactly a surgeon with a soldering iron lol
Thanks! I've been waiting on parts for my suspension for almost 3 weeks now!! I'm hoping to finally get to it this coming weekend. As far as springs/ new suspension goes, it really is quite easy to do. If you want to take it easy and do it over a weekend, you can, but really for most people who have a ratchet set, a good jack, and some jackstands, even by yourself it should only take you like 4-6 hours. When I put my coilovers on, I had some help from a few guys that had done it before - and with no compressor, and with having to re-use my OEM topmounts it took less than 2 hours start to finish - including a break to get food lol.
Trickiest part isn't unbolting anything, but rather wrestling the shocks out of the wheel wells imo. That's the part where it helps most to have someone help out, so they can step down on the rotor while you're wiggling the SOB outta there.
Thanks!...sorry it took so long to reply. I've been taking too many photos and making too many changes. My car has turned into another hobby...a very expensive, time-consuming hobby. Not that I'm don't love it...Really nice whip
Where did you get the pedals, they are mint
Lovin' the oem wheels as well. Those are the nicest 6th gen wheels for the 4cyl
I have the same neuspeed strut bar but got it in polished. I wanted to get the black one first but couldn't find it. Rarity!
Gotcha. Looks nice!I have 35% in the front and rear quarter window which is the legal limit. In the rear windshield I went one step darker to 20%
