**You may or may not have to remove the distributor** (3 bolts & 2 plugs)
**May or may not need to remove air filter box and battery** (4 bolts on the box & 2 batteries hold-downs)
1. Disconnect the neg. (-) battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the pos. (+) lead to the starter.
3. Disconnect the solenoid wire (black, 1/4" female connector)
4. Unplug the starter wire harness (may be confusing this with the alternator)
5. Remove the 12mm and 14mm bolts (2 total) holding the starter to the transmission bell housing.
6. Pull the starter straight out and replace.
