Must be some XXR's with those specs haha. Probably 527s also. I'm running those specs in the rear with a 215/40. I would definitely suggest a 205 though, wish I would have gone with that.

I'm looking to get the XXR 527's in the next few days, too. I'll be sure to post pics of their fitment with my Tein Coilovers.

I'm really excited to be purchasing a set of wheels in the next few days.

I've decided to go with the XXR 527's. I currently have a 3" drop on my Teins.

How do you think 18x8.75 +20mm will sit? I'm thinking 205/40 for tires.

It is worth noting that a little poke wouldn't be the end of the world since I'm liking the idea of switching to FF2 coilovers.

Thanks for any help.

Edit: I just read the above posts after writing this...

I lol'd at your edit :lawl:

Ill post what happens with mine. But I just had a few guys saying I should have gone with 18x9.75s instead

I've found a set of wheels that are 18x7.5 +45 with 205/45/18 tires. I'm on S-techs and have a ~2 finger gap at all four corners. I know the correct size would be 40 sidewalls, but the increased overall diameter would eliminate most of my wheel gap, which is kind of what I'm going for. Even with the 45 sidewalls I believe these will fit fine (with the occasional rub), however, will the wheels/car look stupid with that much tire?

I had the same specs with a little less drop. You'll be about an inch from flush with the fender. I'm only responding because I know those specs from experience. Maybe some spacers to help. I was on 205/35's. I wouldn't recommend any higher than 215/40.

getting ready to buy tires for my mazdaspeed3 wheels, they're 18x8.5 +52, posted about them a few times but now im wondering if i should go with 215/40s or 205/40s
im at about 24.3" on tein ss and ill have fenders rolled w/tabs relocated, probably adding spacers, not going for full stanced but something nicely fitted/slight poke

Im running 225/40s on 18x9+35 with no fender work at the moment. Tucking 1/4" front and 2 finger gap rear. I only rub on hard turns. So if you have all the proper fender work done then you should be good with a 225. At least 215.
