hello ladies and gents,

looking around i found that the ddmtuning is cheapest (and i wanted to not go with egay's) i know what kind i want, but what i had trouble figuring out is what to purchase from them... i will be doing both low and high beam's after i get the lip kit from a guy near me.

http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-HID-Kit-Slim-Ballast-35W-or-55W

so far what i know im getting is:
55 Watt
9006/ 9005 Bulb's
6000k color

but the parts i cant figure out:
HID harness (2in/ 2out, is it needed?)
error eliminator (dont think cars new enough to need it)

im pretty sure this will be a short thread, but im basically needing to know if i need to get those 2 parts listed last. thanks for the help guys.

please no hateing

not needed. i didn't get them but HID high beams? really? and on top of that 55w? you're going to blind EVERYONE including the pedestrians on the sidewalks and the people sleeping in their apartments on the 10th floor...you want a nice output but not a solar flare.

EDIT: im not hating, just letting you know what you're getting before you get them. it's more of a FYI. and are you planning to leave the high beams on all the time or to flash people? if you're going to flash people you're going to shorten the life of your HIDs. they're like your car, the engine takes the most beating when cranking. HID's take the most beating when lighting up.

35w is more than enough... and like knighthawk said, HIDs on highs??? I'd get yellow halogens for highs as HID take long to "warm up" and by the time theyre "warmed up" ur gonna have to turn them off again...and that kills the life span of ur bulbs and ballasts. If i were u, I would go 5Ks, 6Ks if u want looks, but 5Ks deliver the most light output, and u dont need the error eliminator but I would reccomend a relay harness just to be on the safe side

I agree with others, 55w is way too much in my opinion and you will be getting flashed at. Just get the 5k or 6k 35w slim ballast kit and you would be good to go. And HIDs for highbeams is just dumb if you plan on flashing. I have a pair 3000k Noyka bulbs for highs so I can flash and they are bright.

maybe people need to stop suggesting 55w kits and I wouldn't have to let my man Tien take roll call after blinding everyone.

yeah but seriously, you really only *need* a 35w kit, the 55w is excessive.

DDM is good. Since one of my ballasts were messed up about a 1/2 year ago, I've just been running halogen bulbs. I'm too lazy to send them back the HID's for replacement.

Anyway, you should definitely go with 35w and 5000k/6000k for overall looks and function/output.

But keep in mind, this is a popular HID kit so shipping might take a while as some people have experienced but luckily for me, when I got it about 2 years ago, it arrived pretty fast.
