How to clean under the hood

It looks like nobody has ever cleaned in the engine compartment on my accord. Any tips on what to use and how to do it to make it all nice and shiny again?
Thanks!

Re: How to clean under the hood

I am also interested in this.. is there some sort of paint-friendly solvent that can be used to remove the years of grease in the engine bay? My engine won't look good unless painted black.. but the engine bay could use some cleaning. I tried bunch of interior finish like armorall on the engine bay and that doesn't help, tire shine is worthless as well. Please enlighten me.
