I live in Washington state.. I have white rear turn signals and have been in front of countless city cops, state patrol, and sheriffs and still have not been pulled over for the signals being white.. But of course I've been pulled over for other things:eusa_wall:

WI law in a nutshell:

No red or blue lights on the front, no blue in back. Amber/yellow signals in front, amber or red in back. Of course, no purple or green or chartreuse etc :lawl:

So...red in the tails is ok depending on the state. Most cop cars are red fyi...though bringing that up probably pisses off the boys when they have you pulled over :lawl:

...Then its ok. Some cops will still give you ****. Here they don't give a **** unless you have a white light in back like a broken tail lamp.

In europe, for example, ambers in the rear are required. American cars like Corvettes have different tail lamps entirely.

But this is like the 30th time we've had this discussion here :lawl:

I plan on doing a LED swap for my taillights and I noticed a TL the other day with red turn signals. Do you think it'd be alright if I replaced my amber turn signals with red LEDs?

all the cars i can think of had red turn signals in the back...amber is in the front of the car, i think you need to rephrase your question, its kind of confusing what you are asking, if your asking for the front i think you might get away with it because its close to amber

Sorry. I'm asking about tails. I've always had amber in my accord so I was jut curious. The question has been answered as legal.

Thanks

For the rear, your signals must emit a red or amber color to be legal. this means the lense or the actual bulb must be red or amber
Any other color (White, Blue, or clear) are illegal

For the front, the signal must emit an amber color. No exceptions...

Most cops wont mess with you on something so simple, unless they want to d!ck with you or unless you're driving like an asshat.

Same here in the NorthEast
There are so many cars with tint on the front windows till cops dont waste their time unless they want to d!ck with you or unless you're driving like an asshat.
