Yep...35w kit. And the relay harness is recommended. If you want to know why, just search.

HID lighting in your high beams is pointless, flashing your brights at people A) will not work, and B) will kill your ballasts in less than a few months.

(dad's experience and nearly my own) and i was goin with 6000k because of there mostly white with blue hint to them. clean and functional is the look im going with on my car, thanks for the help guys!:redface2:

What if you have retros? Is it still super overkill? Because retros have a cutoff. I'm only asking because I once considered this. I live in Maui and some roads are super dark at night. /threadjack

i like how not one person has 55w, and says dont get them, i have 55w ive never been flashed at, and hids in the high beam is a waste. with any hid make sure you angle them right or you will blind people 55w or 35w.

Just get the new phillips HIR for your low beams and some Toshiba HIRs for your high beams. you get 75% the light of a HID without glare and hot spots as the bulbs are designed to be used in a halogen reflector/projector. hte only con is the bulbs don't last as long as HID and cost twice as much as a ddm kit

Its a big difference in terms of the glare oncoming traffic will see, and again IMO 35w is enough.... I would only go 55w if ur gonna put it in a retro but on stock reflectors 35w is more than sufficient. and if u need light at night then use your high beams... put those nokya stage 1 yellows or u can opt for the stage 2s but theres a chance that it can melt ur housing if its on for long enough
