I'm truly jealous Nick......the only e36 M cars I've found around here are ragged to hell and back......
Thanks! Its took me about 3 weeks to find one worth buying. If the deal on this one had fallen through, I was going to start looking down in VA and Maryland, there are a bunch down there.

nice!! rwd ftw!! how much was the car if you dont mind me askin?

The car was $8500. That was dead center of market pricing that I've found. You can find them cheaper, but they will have 200k miles on them. Mine has 108k. Some people are really proud of their M3's though, I saw some for between 12-18k when I was shopping around.

You will find how much better RWD is man. I really love it, you shouldnt strip the interior, its already got enough balls. One thing about bimmers is, there is a lot of untapped power n/a. You will have fun! Cant wait to see some hill climbs.

I would definitly keep the accord as a beater, its paid off, cheap...and reliable. Just put some studs on the front and your good to go.

Nice pickup Nick. Even after all these years I still feel this gen M3 has looks that still stand out. A roomate in college had this exact M3 except different wheels. The interiors are nice, I would have a hard time ripping it apart too.

Are you going to do some of the smalll cosmetic things, like red/clear tails, halo headlights, etc?

I keep wanting to get an e46, you can find such great deals on them...but I think it's the cost of ownership that would get me.

Nick, that's awesome! I wouldn't strip it out either... I'd enjoy it as a daily, and give it some weekend exercise on the track.

Just too nice of a car overall. :)

I did my first even in the M3 last weekend. Came home with a 1st in class trophy! I managed to shave off more than 35 seconds off my times between saturday and sunday.

I'm still getting used to the RWD aspect of the car, the timing of my inputs (throttle and steering) need to be completely changed from hammering the accord around. There is much more finesse involved and less man-handling the car to do what you want.

I have some more goodies that are awaiting installation at the moment. . .

Bilstein Pss9 Coilovers, A factory X brace from the Lightweight M3, and a full Turner Motorsport rear bushing kit that should really tie the rear end together nicely.

MOTHER OF GOD.

Nick that's awesome, that didn't take you long, haha. Congrats on the hill climb (I'm assuming it was hill climb) and also on the sweet mods.

Too bad it's not going to be on the car for tomorrow.

Thats badass, is that the nurburging ring track btw on ur suspension lol?

There is definity more finesse involved with rwd. But there is no understeering once u pound the gas comig out of a turn :)

congrats man. nice bunch of goodies you have to throw on there too. my friends got pss9's on his jetta...granted a mk4 jetta isnt anything like a e36 m3 haha, but its a real nice suspension. his car handles pretty good and rides nice as well.
