I'll update pics when I finish.

So far I discovered that the relay is useless, for me. So I removed it. Than I picked a fused ignition switched wire. I used the yel/blk for the power mirrors, since I don't have power mirrors any more, and ran that to the blue wire. The blue wire goes to the switch, then it's switched, and turns green. The green wire runs out the firewall.

So my DRL is controlled by ignition, and the fog switch.

For DRL I used the little lights that are under the headlights (well, one, it will be both before I get pics). I cut the parking light wire and switched that to the green wire. So any time the fog swich is on, and ignition is on, DRL!

Yup, pics when I finish!

Done. Works. Pics soon!

I got sidetracked. My cruise control took a few presses of the set/decel button for a couple days, then stopped working a couple days ago. So I 'decoded' the wiring, tested, rebuilt the steering buttons, re-test. Taking a little break, then I'll drive it and see if it works. They sell that button assembly aftermarket, it is not even hard to rebuild!

Keep in mind the turn signals are also reverse, and the reverse are turn. I used flipback led white/amber 7223 bulbs on all of them. With red/clear oem look taillights off ebay :D

Oh, and the reverse/turn light sockets are single filament. But the tail light housings fit brake/tail sockets (double filament)! So I went to a junkyard, and cut some of those and fit them to use for reverse/turn! It cost me ~$5!

Would you say it looks brighter now when backing up a dark driveway?

Not much, more about angle. Now it lights the side angle so you know where you could go in reverse. Before it only lit straight back, so where you are backing. Unless you are turned, then it only lights where you could go, not where you are going.

But I did the hack for turn signals too, now you have a HUGE indicator!
