i am trying to stuff 18"/8" under my ride.. tire rack states 215/40/18 and i want to make sure that there will be NO stretch in the tire.. and also how badly i will rub.. the previous ovner fut the rear fenter lip off so i cant roll them and the front is stock.. i dont rub at all right now running 17" rims but i dont know my tire size right now i will edit later!

All tires fit or “stretch” differently. For example I’ve been told that Falkens run on the smaller side, which is why so many people use the Ziex’s for stretching. But I have 18x8’s wrapped in Yokohama 225/40 and there is no stretch really. If I put 215’s on, there would be a little stretch.

Your tire size shouldn’t change enough to the point that you rub, as long as you stay as close the overall factory diameter as you can. Unless you’re running the wrong tire size on your 17’s currently…

So...test-fitted the VS's over the BBK today finally...and they clear! I cannot believe it, really thought these wheels would not work out. There is about 1/8" of room between the caliper and back of the disk...so happy.

So the lips just need refinished, the disks/rivets need painted, and I want to make the rears wider by 1".

The fronts may poke just slightly until I can get some GC sleeves for the Yellows. I am going to put 225/40's on the front. Not sure what tire size to put on rear yet. Got time to think about it though, lol.

how low is ur car like measurements from ground to top of the fender?

I will check this tomorrow.

i only rub in the rear right now because i need to do a little grinding!

the front i dont rub at all but the sad part it the rears are bald and rub.. and the fronts are full meat and do not rub... so when i get meaty tires all the way around im gonna have to do some huge clearancing to get it to fit

forgot to look at my tire size again today haha

Figured that :/
When you put your spacers on post pictures of how much poke you have.
So I can add half an inch to that to picture what it would look like for a 18x10

So I have already decided wha rims I am getting and now I need tires . The rims I'm getting are xxr 527s and the size is 17x8.25 +25 mm offset . I was thinking of going with 225/45/17 . Would this setup be ok ?? Would I need to do some fender work since I plan to be lowered on coils . Thanks in advance

Seems correct, nothing too crazy. I'm running 225/45/17 on my xxr 527's 8.25 and it's giving me a little stretch
