sorry guys, i have an 01 auto v6 and have a chance to get a rebuilt j32 motor today..just didnt have time to read on swap..figured it would be cheaper then having to replace all my timing/ leaking main seals to just swap it out...

What motor are you getting exactly? 7GA's had J30a4/a5's, and a J32a3 is a base 3G TL motor. I'm guessing yours is a J32a1/a2, in which case this has been discussed at length...you have your reading cut out for you. :)

ummm.... i dunno about that???

cuz down the road, the j32 gonna screw up ur j30 trans even faster that it already is...

most people who do j32 swap does the 6spd swap aswell... and they are a pain in the butt and cost lots of dough...

just letting u know

it should just drop right in but, it wont be turn key.... quite a few (many) wiring modifications will be needed.
