Hello,

I just purchased a 1999 Honda Accord last week. It runs great, but just today as I was driving around town the speedometer, tach, and my stereo (aftermarket) all seem to lose power at the same time. No change to the way the car was running though. Any thoughts?

Id start by checking the fuse for the cluster. It sounds like someone did a sh1tty job installing the stereo and tapped into the same wire that that powers the cluster.

I was driving during the day, so I don't know if the lights turned off, but the speed and tach needles dipped to 0 for a half a second, then jumped back up to where they should have been.

Hmm. With this extra info, its starting to sound like your ignition switch is on the way out.
