I painted my stock rims gunmetal (spray paint) heres some pics so you can see what they look like.

This is the brand of paint i used (but in gun metal):

They turnned out really good for me and i like them a lot. How they looked before i painted them was so bad, they were all scratched up and had horrible curb rash on them, however since i painted them i filled in all the imperfections and made the rims look new. All together i think i spent maybe $40 and my own labour.

^^^ How did they hold up over the winter?
You guys don't use road salt like we do here.

So far so good! winter i guess just ended, this is how they look before I washed my car:

It really all depends on how many coats you put on, and if you prep'd them well.

Is it the pic or are the tires low on air!:thinking: rattle can job clean tho!

I spraypainted my stock V6 16s white when they started to oxidize. If you DIY, you need a lot of patience during the sanding process. I spent an hour and a half sanding each wheel. I screwed up on the prep though, and only used 2 coats of white and no clear, so the paint started chipping off after 2 winters.
