I have almost everything wired in but I cannot find a place for the knock sensor. I don't think the F20B has a knock sensor, but is there I place I can add one from my f23a1?

If it has one, which is very well might not being that it's from a different country, there should be a spot on the back of the block near the filter that you can drill out.

FYI - if you're going OBD1, you don't need it. If you're staying OBD2, you will need it.

I looked back there and didn't see an available port. I am planning to stay obd2. Do you know if I can just tap a hole that is unused that is near the oil pan. Ill try to post a pic when I get home of where the hole currently is.

You did, but to clarify, the hole is considerably lower than the oil filter. I should have said can it go anywhere in the block or does it have to be near the placement on the stock motor?

the F20b engine (at least 97-00) DOES have a knock sensor, it's located right under the head, under the intake manifold. It may be broken off tough.

Green plug above oil filter in this pic:

the one under the oil filter is the oil pressure switch
