DTC P1738: Problem in 2nd Clutch Pressure Switch Circuit
Well connected the OBD2 to the car today for the heck of it and turned out a code of P1738 was stored in the memory. From snooping it seems the code doesn't illuminate the CEL light or flash the D4 light; it also seems that most just replaced the 2nd clutch pressure switch and had no issues with the tranny.
Funny enough though i have no trouble with any of the gears from 1st to 4th and they all switch smoothly at around 2.5k rpm.
Only thing that's been done lately was a tranny fluid drain and refill and since honda doesn't carry the Z1 anymore what's inside right now is a 3L of DW1 and whatever was inside of the Z1 that doesn't drain out...however all dealers i contacted confirmed the 2 can be mixed together.
Was wondering if anyone ever changed theirs and if so where was it located as the diagram i have shows me only the 3rd clutch switch not the 2nd.
---Edit
Well got a diagram of it but which one is 2nd and which one is 3rd lol(looking at 12 and 13)
12 28600-P6H-003 SWITCH ASSY., OIL PRESSURE
13 28600-P7Z-003 SWITCH ASSY., OIL PRESSURE (TEXAS INSTRUMENTS)
16 90471-PW7-A00 GASKET (10MM)
