Car Key Question

Heres my issue...

A few months ago I lost my car keys at a concert so I've been using my valet key. Today I called honda got a quote for a new key... and those beezy's told me it would be 180 somethin dollars for reprogramming a key.. with no alarm button included. W T F. So my question is.. does anyone in SoCal know where I can get some cheap help getting a key made or where I can get a new alarm button?

u can get an alarm on ebay and program it urself just make sure you get the right one. and i got another key from honda for 90$ when i went in there

you can actually ebay a blank chipped key for $10-$15. then get it cut for like $3 at any locksmith, then take it to honda to program for like $40.

dude... that is mad expensive!!!

i got a tsx switchblade key for $75 and to program it and cut it cost me $50

but then again, i got an 8thgen... and it works like oem!!!

that dealer should be called stealership!!!

I think im just gonna get a few copies of my valet key made, and get a new alarm button off ebay. I dont have to deal with the Stealership that way, right?? Because all of that money for a key is insanity lol. Im tryina get a drop.
