Yes it'll fit.

Not something I'd pay over $4k for when the only difference between it and other H22's is compression and cams.

Did you ever make this swap? I was looking at this engine but found that if it was for the Prelude '06-'00 is had the ACCS which would not work.

Just curious how it turned out.

I would not pay the extra money for a Type S, it's obd2 and will give you problems finding the right ecu etc. I would look in to picking up a JDM H22A or usdm h22a4 It cost you about half the price. TigerJap is a great place to buy parts from also.
