6thgen Accord's Feature: Sakuradrops808B's 2001 Honda Accord 4cyl EX NBP
In a land where time is a little late, where you can go back in time by one single day, in where pineapples grow and flip flops are the norm, as well as lush blue ocean and beaches and dont forget about high cost shipping fees when buying online but hey atleast there are no snakes there... this is the island of Hawaii, Oahu to be specific. There are numerous cars on the street that you will see like every other city. Civics, Integras, 240sx, Celicas, all the way to Supras and Skylines just to name a few but one guy decided to be different than the rest.
Honda Accord was one of the few makes that regular "tuner" would have picked to begin with. And that is what exactly Ron aka Sakuradrops808B did. This specific year of Accord has no Japanese or JDM counterpart when it comes to car parts. In other words it is NOT-JDM in any way. Ron had to scavenge for parts from other Honda and Acura vehicles. This Accord was named "Sakura". Through the years Sakura had gones through different styles and phases i which alot of aesthetics was changed. It had gone through from Time Attack mode and lastly VIP Style, because he wanted to prove that Accords of this year can be classy also. Owning four different set of rims Ron could have easily invested more into the engine but how come he didnt?--- As what he had told us he plan to utilize more of the engine's stock life as long as he could so that there will be no waste, "why fix it when its not broken?". And besides it was already proven before that a puny mighty Honda engine can last up to 300K miles, or Just ask Mr. Soichiro Honda in automotive heaven.
But Ron plans to swap the engine as soon as he sees it fits thus, finding a local shop in Hawaii would be the main obstacle. We'll see how everything goes by then. But for now its all eye candy, being tastefully unique has always been part of his game. Suck on that VIP critiques!!!

Ron plans to add more to the aesthetics of the car as well as some more power when he is able to. Still waiting for a Bisimoto header to be produced, or a turbo application in the near future. Living in this so-called paradise is uber coolios but finding a shop that can do a engine swap is hard.
Currently as of 10/16/2008 the car is at the shop for re-paint and shaving but stay tuned for more rare goodies! Like this one!
Update as of 10/18/2008: almost there!!!

"Thanks for all the hook-ups and support from friends and family without you i wouldnt be able to make this happen. Thank you fellow Accords for having the same Passion and never-ending modding of your cars!!!"
Some footnotes from the owner, "...i do not want any recognition of any form just to be put on a higher pedestal although its good, but my main goal, my mission, is to raise the bar for all of us 6thgen Accords or Accord owners none the less since we deserve that spotlight. All trims, all body types, all body color, all styles, all generations we all have the same passion. We are one in heart and thats what keeps me modding and enjoying my Sakura"
