I just lowered my accord about 4-5 inches and when I'm driving and street dips or its bouncing i hear this loud thump noise. one of my friend i believe said it was the control arm hitting the top and told me to make a hole so it has room but i was wondering if anyone else has/had this problem and how they solved it.

Yeah, you're control arms hitting your strut tower. Typical problem with lowering. All I do what cut around a 4in by 4in square on each side where they were hitting. Search for a thread called "Cutting strut towers? Yay or nay" or something like that.

Edit: here's the link to the thread. Just read through it. Click

Yupp! Definitely your UCA hitting the Shock Towers. I had the same issue. All I did was cut a square hole where the UCA were hitting.
