Hello 6GA. New member residing in Nashville, TN.

Daily driver is a silver 1999 Honda Accord LX Sedan 4 cylinder, F23A1 engine. It is an automatic. It has about 148,021 miles right now. This is originally my dad's car and was bought in 1999 at Trickett Honda in Madison and I've been driving it since October 2013. The car has mostly been used to drive to school. I'm hoping to keep this car for a long time unless something happens to it.

Current Mods
K&N Drop-In Air Filter
Pioneer DEH-33HD Car Stereo

The Bad
- No D4 light on dash.
- Passenger side headlight may need a new bulb (sometimes doesn't light up when turning on low beams, not sure).
- Climate control unit (lights go off and on randomly).
- Small cut on one of the tires.

Future Plans
- Replace or repair front and rear bumper
- New wheels
- Maybe a new paint job
- Exhaust

UPDATE 2/7/2015: Oil changed, CV axle changed, tires rotated all at 148,021 miles.
UPDATE 1/25/2015: Pictures below...

Welcome to 6GA. Make yourself at home.

Always nice to get an originally-owned car, especially from your family.

Future plan sounds good; Can't wait to see what you'll do first!

Welcome to the site. If you're looking for a DIY guide on axle replacement, Ericthecarguy on YouBewb (or his website) has a good one. Used it when I replaced my axles.

Thanks for the pics! Is there a big reason why you need to replace your headlights? Something wrong with them? If none, you can DIY cleaning up the lenses (haze removal) with a tooth paste / headlight restoration cleaner.

Btw, can't you remove the dealer sticker by the bottom left taillights? I suppose you don't really need to advertise them, and it will look a lot cleaner w/o it. ;)

Well, I just need to replace the bulb (passenger side by the way). It's starting to go out. Doesn't light up sometimes when turning on the low beams and I have to switch it off and on a couple of times for it to light up. Will update post to reflect that.

It's not a sticker, so I can't unfortunately. But thanks for the suggestion. :)

Oh, my bad. I thought you needed to change your headlight.

Then, I guess it's an emblem glued down to your trunk. You can use your hair dryer to warm it up the glue to the point where the emblem moves by hand. Then slide in a dental floss to remove it. You can use mayonnaise to remove those glue remained on your trunk to clean it up; Here's my DIY post, if you ever decided to work on:
