oem rep sides - how low?

So, I'm considering them.
And I know some card, frame hangs lower than the side skirts.
And I'm wondering, does this apply to our cars?
I plan on going lower, and I'm scared of scraping them and breaking them. So I figured I'd ask first.

I just looked under my car at lunch, and my side underspoilers are at the same height or higher than the frame. They bolt up under the car the same way the rocker panels did, so not much difference there. Mine are OEM though, so the replicas may be different.

Hopefully someone who has them will chime in.

are you asking about how low you can mount the rep side skirt or how to mount them ???

but if you asking about how to mount them. i can tell you how i did mine :thumbsup:

. all i did was just mount on top of stock side skirt just like how "the wicked one" did.

I'm asking how low they hang, because I don't wanna break them. My buddys xb's sides don't hang lower than the undercarriage. So they don't scrape. Only the bottom does.

oh okay i get it now. well the rep ones i got from charlie on hang like a .5 inch or so from the jack points.

but i can measure it for you tomorrow if you want me too

I don't have time to measure today but I have bottomed out plenty of times and it does not hit the sides. I would not worry about damaging them. OEM replica sides and rear should be good but the front will not last very long. Mine was totally destroyed in about 8 months, and I modded it to fit an 02, reinforced it ALOT in the process of doing so. If you are doing the whole kit, do yourself a big favor and get an OEM urethane front lip.
